Founded
1974

Founded in 1974, The Way Back Inn Grateful House is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives after substance and gambling use disorders. The center offers multiple levels of care, including Extended Residential Care (ERC), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) services. With 10 beds, the facility offers structured, long-term support for adult men to heal and recover, with each participant residing for 90 days to one year. In the ERC program, individuals receive clinical services, housing, and meals, with personalized treatment plans. After completing the program, they can transition to Recovery Homes, where they receive less frequent clinical support, preparing them for independent living. The center also offers intensive outpatient (IOP) for in person, and outpatient (OP) services via zoom or telehealth.Teens ages 13-17 can also participate in outpatient services. The center provides a comprehensive approach to recovery, including individual treatment plans, clinical services, and a focus on rebuilding life skills. Family psychoeducation therapy groups are held weekly to support patients and their loved ones address addiction-related challenges and their impact on the family system. The center’s goal is to promote lasting recovery through support, therapy, and community involvement.
