Located in northern Indianapolis, Spark Recovery offers trauma-informed, evidenced-based care and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns in an outpatient setting. Spark Recovery offers day treatment, an intensive program which meets 5 days per week, 5 hours per day and can serve as an alternative to or a step down from residential treatment. Clients participate in group therapy, individual counseling, family sessions, and medication intervention. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers greater flexibility, with a 3 hour group meeting at least 3 days per week in addition to individual counseling and family meetings. Clients needing less intensive treatment or desiring maintenance care can participate in an outpatient group that meets weekly for 1 hour. Spark Recovery offers a variety of evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care (TIC), and motivational interviewing (MI). Clients also participate in expressive therapy, group therapy, family meetings, and psychoeducation. Spark Recovery integrates 12-Step and non 12-Step programs into treatment, with SMART Recovery and Celebrate Recovery as treatment options.
