2007

Nestled in the hills, this treatment center in Phoenix offers a restorative environment for patients to heal in. The treatment facility as well as the sober living homes reflect their name by providing a tranquil and serene atmosphere that is conducive for healing. They offer residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Patients are encouraged to live in Sanctuary’s designated sober living facilities while in outpatient care. The gender-specific sober living homes provide a high level of comfort with lots of amenities like spacious bedrooms, chef-prepared meals, private gardens and more. Sanctuary is committed to providing true recovery for both the individual and their family. They offer a family health program that can help families re-establish a stable environment filled with honesty, forgiveness and kindness. Sanctuary provides many therapies to engage every aspect of the human experience. Their licensed clinicians and staff members provide trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and eye movement therapy for clients who have been through traumatic or painful experiences. They can also provide art and music therapy, restorative yoga, biofeedback therapy, mindfulness and meditation. Patients can also benefit from recreational therapy such as visiting the tortoise sanctuary, hiking or nature excursions. Sanctuary also offers medication-assisted treatment to support clients as they work with counselors to address behaviors in therapy.
