Kolonial House is a private luxury retreat located in the peaceful beachfront village of Sanur, Bali. Established in 2010, with uniquely designed programs, Kolonial House tailors treatment to meet the specific needs of each client. They specialize in mental health issues, including acute stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. To ensure the highest standard of individual care, they only take 4 clients at a time, either in private deluxe rooms, or in one of their luxury 5-star villas. Both Kolonial House and their 2 villas are a 5-minute walk from the beach. Their mental health retreat combines wellness with deep internal healing for long-term success. Clients can expect high standards and ethics at Kolonial House. On their treatment team, they have psychotherapists, trained counsellors, holistic therapists, and experienced support staff. Treatment includes a combination of holistic and clinical therapies, including one-on-one counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, yoga, meditation and relaxation techniques, art therapy, and other evidence-based treatments. They also use "the tools" methodology, made famous by renowned psychotherapist Phil Stutz, and the S.M.A.R.T program. Self-motivation and recovery tools, with free world-wide online support groups, add to clients’ comprehensive treatment. Kolonial House is also one of Bali’s leading yoga and meditation schools, with multiple advanced teachers and professional therapists. Daily exercise, positive and enjoyable activities, healthy food, and rest are fundamentals that are always encouraged. After a full assessment, Kolonial House’s professionals develop an individual plan to meet clients’ specific needs. Personal one-to-one attention is assured, with the option to join group activities at their wellness center and enjoy excursions around the Island. Kolonial House offers flexibility, encouragement, and self-motivation to empower each client. Kolonial House is proud to be a semi non-profit company with local foundations as their main beneficiaries. Remaining profits go toward other local causes, fair wages for the staff, and a cross-subsidy program for locals without means of treatment. Their charitable support, together with successful outcomes for clients and their families, is Kolonial’s primary motivation.
