Positive Sobriety Institute (PSI) specializes in treating addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions for a wide range of professionals, including physicians, attorneys, and executives, in high-stress, high-accountability roles, as well as individuals looking for personalized treatment in a safe, discreet, and supportive environment. Located in the heart of Chicago, and led by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists with specialized training in treating addiction, PSI addresses the full spectrum of each client’s recovery needs so they can return to their personal and professional lives feeling strong, productive, and inspired. PSI offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) that provides a full day of intensive, structured treatment five days a week, as well as both daytime and evening Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) to accommodate the needs of busy professionals. With a focus on personalized group therapy, PSI provides a supportive environment for clients to create a foundation for life in recovery. PSI utilizes multiple evidenced-based modalities as well as trauma informed approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, experiential therapies, somatic therapy, yoga, and art therapy. Additionally, PSI offers wellness sessions, including nutrition, mindfulness meditation, sound therapy, and strength & conditioning. PSI’s comprehensive continuum of care focuses on assessing the role of trauma and addiction, supporting patients in understanding their lived experience, and beginning the work of recovery and resilience. PSI is uniquely equipped to help professionals, including healthcare workers, legal professionals, and executives, navigate recovery while maintaining their careers. PSI works closely with professional health programs and other referring entities to facilitate a smooth transition back to the workplace. This comprehensive support system ensures that clients receive the necessary care and guidance for sustainable recovery, acknowledging that recovery is a lifelong process.
