Montrose Behavioral Health Outpatient Services is located in downtown Chicago and offers outpatient treatment for adolescents and adults through their partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. These programs are for those with a primary diagnosis of depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), suicidal ideation, self-harm, and other mental health conditions. The programs can also provide treatment for co-occurring concerns like substance use disorders, anxiety disorders, phobias, eating disorders, and panic disorder. The partial hospitalization program (PHP), also known as day treatment, typically spans 4-6 weeks and is 4-5 days a week for 6 hours each day. Patients are assessed at the beginning of treatment so staff can create a customized care plan. The plan can include: Medical careMedication management servicesMedication-assisted treatment (MAT)Individual therapyFamily therapyGroup therapyExperiential therapies Their IOP is similar to the PHP but is 3-4 days a week for 3 hours each day. Patients will typically participate in this program for 4-6 weeks. Before the end of programming, a multidisciplinary team of medical doctors, social workers, case managers, and nurses will provide ongoing care recommendations and connect patients with resources as needed.
