Participants also receive psychiatric monitoring and medication management for co-occurring conditions like depression and anxiety as well as primary care for other medical needs. The IOP includes full day and full week sessions. Standard outpatient programs include 6-9 hours of treatment weekly and may be a better fit for individuals requiring less intensive treatment or who have demanding work and family commitments.
