Huntsman offers specialized care for conditions like autism, anxiety, and perinatal mental health. The facility is easily accessible via the 223 bus line, and parking is available on-site. A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, and social workers collaborate to treat clients of all ages in crisis situations, offering stabilizing care typically lasting 8-10 days. Huntsman Mental Health Institute offers specialized residential treatment for teens with mental health and substance use concerns, including expressive arts therapy, recreational therapy, medication management, and individual, group, and family psychotherapy. Huntsman also offers medically-monitored inpatient detox for substance use, with a team of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, and social workers combining to help ensure a safe and comfortable withdrawal period. Huntsman’s Comprehensive Assessment & Treatment (CAT) programs offer children, teens, and young adults a transformative 5- to 8-week experience designed to uncover the root causes of mental health and behavioral challenges, empowering families with clarity, direction, and hope. These programs offer a safe, structured environment grounded in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), with additional integration of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills to support adolescents in their healing journey. With daily access to a child and adolescent psychiatrist, comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments, and individualized, evidence-based treatment, the program equips clients and their families with a clear path to long-term wellness and recovery. Outpatient services at Huntsman include a combination of medication management, group therapy, and individual therapy. Huntsman additionally offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ketamine therapy, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) for treatment-resistant mood disorders. Clients with substance use concerns can participate in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational enhancement, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) in a group format. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is also available to alleviate cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
