Harbor of Grace is a well-rounded treatment center located in Hartford County at the mouth of the Susquehanna River. They specialize in holistic treatment for men, women, national law enforcement, and first responders struggling with addiction and co-occurring health conditions. Harbor of Grace offers medical detox, inpatient care, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). After an initial assessment, the expert staff creates a unique treatment plan catered to the client's specific needs. Harbor of Grace believes that group therapy is the most effective way to bring about change and offers group lectures, discussions, whiteboard exercises, and videos to help clients understand the steps needed for long-term recovery. Other treatments include individual therapy, brainspotting therapy, equine therapy, art and music therapy, acupuncture, mindfulness and therapeutic recreational activities like kayaking, drumming, and weight training. The Harbor of Grace campus includes private and semi-private accommodations along with a fitness center and plenty of green space for walking or relaxing. Bedrooms are decorated with beach artwork, and each room has a pillow top mattress and a TV. Harbor of Grace is accredited by CARF and is one of 3 treatment centers in America that are vetted and approved by the national Fraternal of Police to provide treatment to their members.
