Residing on 3 acres of California greenspace, Evolve Woodland Hills strives to provide a warm and homely environment for all adolescents and teens, ages 12 to 17, struggling with mental health and substance abuse disorders. The Evolve therapeutic approach is a combination of modalities, including an evidence-based approach with methods such as 1-on-1 therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing (MI), and a more holistic approach with methods such as structural family therapy mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and Seeking Safety. They work on healing the whole person and family, so they provide many opportunities for family involvement to help restore balance and harmony to family dynamics. Many PPO insurance plans cover treatment at Evolve Woodland Hills, as well. Evolve Woodland Hills a gated estate just a short distance from Topanga State Park and the Santa Monica Mountains. The private home has floor to ceiling windows that have spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset. They also have shared gender specific dormitories. Evolve Woodland Hills offers a full-size pool, large patio, and a garage converted to a fully equipped gym with free weights, treadmill, elliptical, rowing machine and yoga accessories. Yoga, equine-assisted therapy, and surfing are just some of the many experiential therapies they offer to their clients to provide a well-rounded treatment plan, as well.
