Cherry Hill – Horizon Treatment Center provides supportive care for adults facing challenges with alcohol or drug use. Located on the Fairmont Hospital grounds, it includes a sobering unit for 23-hour stays and a detox unit for four to six days. Staff also assist clients with co-occurring mental health needs, ensuring each person is connected to appropriate services after treatment. With compassion and experience, Cherry Hill’s team uses evidence-based methods to support safe withdrawal. Clients receive 24/7 care from trained staff, along with access to medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to ease withdrawal symptoms and support early recovery. Each person receives a personalized plan, including referrals for mental health care, housing, or job training, helping them take the next steps toward stability and wellness. Cherry Hill offers a calm, respectful environment where healing can begin. The sobering unit has 50 co-ed beds for short stays, and the detox unit has 32 beds for longer support. Both are staffed 24/7 to ensure safety and comfort. The center partners with hospitals, law enforcement, and community groups to welcome those in need with care and compassion.
