Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health (CDBH) is a 112 bed psychiatric hospital located in Leland, NC, offering mental and behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. CDBH provides different levels of care, including inpatient psychiatric care and residential treatment programs. CDBH also treats substance use disorders using evidence-based treatments. Clients have access to individual, group, family, and recreational therapies while staying at the hospital. CDBH's clinical team offers specialized programs for both adolescents and seniors. The inpatient adolescent program is designed for ages 12-17 who may be struggling with suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma, bipolar, schizophrenia and addictions. The senior program treats adults 50+ years old who may need treatment for grief, disordered thinking, aggression, sundown syndrome, depression and suicidal thoughts. Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health’s campus includes outdoor courtyards, gymnasiums and plenty of windows that allow for natural light in the hospital rooms.
