Way of Life draws on the 12 Steps, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and more to provide step-by-step guidance throughout treatment. Burkwood Treatment Center additionally offers eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to address co-occurring trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Burkwood Treatment Center treats co-occurring mental health conditions to help clients heal comprehensively. They treat anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. Burkwood Treatment Center’s intensive outpatient program has day and evening sessions for greater flexibility. Their day sessions occur on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1-4 pm. Evening sessions take place Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6-9 pm. Clients in IOP can live in Burkwood Treatment Center’s sober living homes or in their own home.
