Beacon House supports women and mothers recovering from alcohol or drug addiction in a safe, home-like setting. This residential program offers a 90-120 day stay, guiding each woman through healing and skill-building for long-term sobriety. Mothers can live with their children during treatment, helping families heal together while building a healthier future. Treatment focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Using 12 Steps as a foundation, the program offers group and individual therapy, relapse prevention, parenting classes, and trauma-informed sessions on domestic violence and anger. Clients also attend spiritual groups, communication workshops, and life skills training, all designed to build confidence and lasting change. Women live in a 12-bed Victorian home with shared rooms and access to basic exercise equipment. Meals are provided, and indoor/outdoor play areas are available for children. At $193 per day, the program offers 24/7 support and supervision. Clients with ForwardHealth should contact their county for program eligibility. Staff help with childcare coordination, and family education groups encourage healing for loved ones.
