At this location, AKUA offers detox and residential treatment for substance use disorders. Clients participate in both group and individual therapy as well as life coaching. Therapies can include mindfulness, meditation, yoga, music (harp) therapy, reiki, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and more. Aftercare is extremely important to AKUA, and they offer an aftercare alumni program. Clients receive consistent aftercare that can include weekly alumni meetings, social events, and access to an alumni app. AKUA Mind Body's residential location on University Drive in Costa Mesa includes transportation services and 24/7 support. A short drive from the coast offers quick access to beautiful beaches. The home has on-site laundry, an on-site gym, a spacious backyard, and a chef prepares healthy meals daily, supporting holistic treatment.
